I visualize the experiences and sensations that have permeated me, expressing them through all-over compositions and irregular forms. The fluttering forms in my work are gestures of lives unfolding—each enduring in its own way within the place it has been given.

At times, these gestures may be sorrowful; at others, joyful. Yet viewed from afar, the amorphous forms seem to perform a collective dance, singing and dancing of happiness and sorrow. Forms brimming with joy, forms resisting sorrow with their entire being, and forms still curled inward, not yet able to bloom…. They are reflections of ourselves, swaying as we search for meaning of our own.

In this way, each of us choreographs a life through movements uniquely our own.

I hope that love will always lie abundantly beneath all these movements, and that, rooted in this love, a pillar of inner strength will rise—one that remains steadfast even in the fiercest winds.

The irregular rhythms and repetitions created by the amorphous forms in my work resemble life itself. They surge and ripple with intensity, only to become calm once again. In this world, neither happiness nor sorrow lasts forever.

Sometimes, we discover overwhelming joy and emotion in the smallest things; at other times, we create a single ray of light and find within it the strength to live again. I move through life anticipating both the movements already inscribed within me and the unexpected forms yet to unfold.

My process of densely layering thread and paint within these forms is itself repetitive. Yet rather than being meaningless, I see it as a meaningful act: a process of living with care and depth while gradually building the distinctive form of one’s own life.

Through my work, I hope viewers will take a moment to reflect on the gestures formed by their own layered memories and the colors through which those memories emerge. Let us embroider our lives with these radiant and graceful gestures.
